Immigration Visa Through Employment workvisalawyers

Patricia Castillo Flanagan, Esq.

President of Work Visa Lawyers, P.A.

Patricia is part of a family of immigrants. Her parents came to the United States in the 1970s, settled in New York City, became permanent residents , worked hard, did well, and moved back to the Dominican Republic after a decade. The move coincided with what was probably the nadir of New York City – it was a tough place to live in the late '70s - early '80s.

Her family, though, never gave up on the United States. Patricia was born and raised in Santo Domingo but came back to the U.S. with the rest of her family in 1999. Since then, she has been intimately acquainted with our immigration system, first on a personal level, now on a professional one.

Patricia graduated from Florida International University with a BA in International Relations and Political Science on her way to Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center and her Juris Doctorate in 2009.

She has been practicing Immigration and Nationality law since November 2009. From November 2009 to November 2020, she was an associate with Rifkin & Fox Isicoff, PA in Miami, where she had the opportunity to work with clients from over 100 countries in a myriad of immigration issues including EB-5s, E-2, waivers and appeals.

Patricia founded Work Visa Lawyers in late 2020 to do what she loves – meeting and getting to know talented, hardworking people from around the world and helping them bring their talents and skills to the U.S. where they can help all of us.

Diligent, passionate and dedicated, Patricia and Work Visa Lawyers’ mission is to obtain employment-based visas for investors, professionals and people with extraordinary or special skills.

Patricia and her husband, Thomas – also an attorney – have 2 children, Thomas and Patrick. When she is not juggling sports and after school activities with her husband, Patricia loves trying out new restaurants and cuisines, traveling, dancing, and swimming in the ocean – any ocean. So far, she has visited 16 countries and has plans to add many more.

Patricia is fluent in English and Spanish and can read French.
